As part of the Upland activities on Labor Day Weekend, the UAGA is once again offering a used bicycle sale.  For those who already have bicycles that need tweaking, free minor bicycle adjustments are being offered to anyone needing minor repairs.


Trail Opening/Dedication:

6 pm, Friday, October 11, 2019

Future Detamore Trailhead

The dedication will take place at the Detamore trailhead on the east side of Main Street immediately south of the railroad bridge

Join us for a celebration of our first one-mile trail segment, Friday, October 11 at the Detamore trailhead (across the street from Best Tire on Main Street, south of the railroad bridge.


Eight-mile Time Trial Event

Beginning at 9:30 am,  Saturday, October 12, 2019

Coinciding the same weekend of the trail grand opening, there will be an eight-mile time-trial (race) for interested road bikers of age 13 and up.  The time trials start at 10 am Saturday, October 12, at the Upland Lions Club.  There will be a $10 registration fee payable in advance .  Feel free to send an email to info@uplandareagreenways.org for additional information.
